Growing Old Disgracefully (GOD)
Growing Old Disgracefully (G.O.D.) Group was started in March 2017 and has grown considerably since then. We now have 51 members who participate in organised trips and activities which are arranged by the group members, throughout the year.
Most recently we visited the Mary Potter Heritage Centre in Nottingham which was reported as being very interesting. Other recent visits include participating in a game of Skittles at the Duke of Wellington Pub, Kirkby, followed by lunch, also a visit to Floral Media at Caunton to learn to make Autumn Wreaths.
Ideally, we would like each member who has an idea, to then go ahead and organise it. We hold a list of suggested visits, events or activities which is distributed to all the group members so they can choose one and organise it, with the help of the Group Leader Chris Berrill.
Unfortunately, the group is now full, but we do have a waiting list if you are interested in joining.
