Our next meeting for noting in your diary will be Tuesday March 21st 2017 at the usual start time of 2.00 p.m. Our speaker will be Mike Davey. Information to follow on subject matter when confirmation is received. All welcome provided they are members of a U3A group.
A further note for your diary will be Tuesday April 18th 2017 when we will be visiting a local garden at Hoveringham. The garden is called Capability Barn and is situated on Gonalston Lane, NG14 7JH, and is the home of Malcolm and Wendy Fisher. Admission is £6 including refreshments. It is within 30 minutes drive of Hucknall (map available from myself).
It’s not really viable to hire a coach so we are looking for generous members with spare seats to give a lift to those not able to drive on this occasion. The garden is part of the NGS Charity Gardens and admission fees go towards donations to Macmillans and other charities
For further information and pictures of what to expect visit their website at www.capabilitybarn.co.uk.
