“Songs you enjoyed when 16” was the theme of September’s Singalong.
Our thanks go to Christine and Dave Vincent who led the session, which was very much enjoyed by all. We continue to find different themes and always welcome members suggestions. Indeed Octobers meeting features music chosen by two of our members.
With the theme of “Holiday Destinations and Sunshine” (Part 1) 28 Singalongers enjoyed some new sounds at July’s meeting. Part 2 continues in August!
Our thanks go to Christine and Dave Vincent who led Singalong in May, the theme being “Doo-wop”. It was enjoyed by all.
Our theme next time has been chosen by a couple of our group members.
Due to other U3A events we were a smaller group singing along to songs vaguely related to hobbies and occupations. We are still finding new songs and welcome any suggestions.
The meeting in May will be led by Dave and Christine Vincent, the theme being “Doo -Wop” songs.
All are welcome, details of the venue are on the website.
Our Singalong group continues to be well attended, the theme of our last session was number one hits from the sixties and seventies chosen by one of our members.
Our finale of Bohemian Rhapsody was worthy of Britain’s Got Talent!!
Our next theme is to be decided but we think we’re due a session of Folk Music!
We meet at St Peter and St Paul’s Church Hall on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
