Fun with Languages

Our first, in person, meeting since the start of Covid was a great success with 12 members attending. We missed those ill and on holiday and hope you can make the next one on Thursday, 14th October from 10.30 am until 12 noon in the John Godber Centre, Byron suite.

We had a fun revision quiz in French and our next meeting will be a combination of revision and continuing to advance. Please bring any old sheets of vocabulary etc with you, a pen/pencil and paper. If anyone needs top up sheets please let me know.

We are now down to two languages, French and Spanish, as this was what the group voted to do for the moment. I hope you are all keeping well and you can make the next meeting in October.

    Plea for Musical Director/Accompanist

The Choir desperately needs a musical director and accompanist in order to continue. The role entails a commitment of four enjoyable hours each month together with a little forward planning.

If you know of anyone who might be interested, perhaps a music teacher or piano player who would be willing to take on this voluntary role, please contact Christine Hemsley, the group leader, on the form below:-
