A special thank you to all who found the courage to come and speak at the last meeting. Due to our members own research we learned a lot and discovered that for some reasons we are so glad times have changed.
On April 17th the group visits Newark Civil War Museum. The coach leaves Hucknall Market (Ogle Street) at 10 am for Newark where you can take a picnic or have a café lunch but please make sure you are at the museum by 1.20 pm. The talk starts at 1.30pm, then we return to Hucknall 5pm (ish)
On May 15th the visit is to Bakewell Old House Museum and Church. The coach leaves Hucknall Market at 10.00 am to return 5.00 pm (ish) COST £15. If you have not yet paid for this visit please make sure you bring cash or cheque to the next main U3A meeting at the leisure centre or post it to me.
On June 19th the visit is to Grimsthorpe Castle, Lincolnshire. The coach leaves Hucknall Market at 9.00 am to return 6.00pm (ish) COST £25
