My brother, Michael, whom most of you have met, has a new talk called British Connexions in Europe (without a mention of Brexit I hope) so I have asked him to come and speak to us again on 20th February, 2019.
I have been busy organising the visits for the Spring.
April 17th to Newark Civil War Museum. Coach leaves Hucknall Market 10.00 am to return 5.00 pm (ish) COST £13
May 15th to Bakewell Old House Museum and Church. Coach leaves Hucknall Market 10.00 am to return 5.00 pm (ish) COST £15
June 19th to Grimsthorpe Castle, Lincolnshire. Coach leaves Hucknall Market 9.00 am to return 6.00 pm (ish) COST £25
The prices do rely on filling the coaches booked which are 49 seaters. Please check the dates in your diaries as some of the costs have to be paid in advance. More details of visits at the next meeting. It would be appreciated if you could bring cash or cheque books for payment please. I have asked Kath & Barrie Hurt, who very kindly helped with money last time, to help again.
