Happy new year to all Hucknall & District U3A Members
For the January meeting I have booked Denis Hill to come and tell us about the History of Ashfield. I am sure a lot of you already know Denis who used to work at Ashfield District Council and is a fantastic historian.
My brother, Michael, whom most of you have met, has a new talk called British Connexions in Europe (without a mention of Brexit) so I have asked him to come and speak to us again.
Please don’t forget we need to organise meetings and visits for this year. I am checking out the places you have chosen to visit so I can get buses ordered and bookings started. See you all soon.
