At April’s meeting a large attendance tried 3 different recipes.
These were Spinach and Cheese crustless Quiche, Summer picnic swirls using frozen pizza dough, and old fashioned ginger biscuits. As usual everything was consumed and all enjoyed the different flavours.
There will not be a meeting in May as it is the Bank Holiday so the next meeting will be on Monday 23rd June.
This group is at present full and cannot take any new members for now.

At our meeting in March we tried three different recipes. These were Glamorgan Sausages, in a tray bake form, Smokey Leek and Hazelnut tart and Apple sauce cookies. Judging by the empty plates these went down well!
The meeting in April will be on Monday 28th April.

A good number attended February’s meeting when we tasted a different version of cheese scones and a delicious potato and parsnip bake.
Again, a big thank you to those who helped me in the kitchen and with all the serving, clearing and washing up. It is always appreciated.
Our next meeting is on 24th March when we will again be trying different recipes.

After the Christmas break, January’s meeting was well attended and members enjoyed tasting the recipes of the day. A big thank you to all those who helped in any way, with signing in to loading the oven to washing up. It was very much appreciated.
The next meeting will be on Monday 24th February, when three different recipes will be demonstrated and tasted.

At November’s meeting members tasted four different recipes it being the last session of the year.
The main recipe was a Parsnip nut roast, using five different nuts plus other ingredients. Then there was a Pesto tear and share bread tree, filo pastry bites and finally mincemeat cookies. Again, the session was well attended and thank you for helping with the tidying and washing up.Â
The next meeting will be on Monday 27th January, at 10.30 am at St Peter and St Paul’s Church Hall on Ruffs Drive.
