Unfortunately the proposed three hour river cruise and lunch on the Nottingham Princess riverboat has had to be cancelled as there was a mix up with booking dates and they could not accommodate us until 28th September, which I felt may have been quite a cold journey!  I had taken £3 deposits and I will reimburse these when we next meet. 

The next Lunch Group will be at Miller & Carter Wollaton on Wednesday, 23rd August and I have already taken 23 names.  As I will not be at the July U3A meeting, I will circulate the menu so please let me have your choices as soon as possible.

On the 28^TH June we dined at The Willow Tree in Basford (part of the Stadium Leisure Group).  In July we are having lunch and a three hour trip on the Nottingham Princess riverboat if you would like to join us.  £24.75 (£3 deposit please) for a two-course lunch leaving from the Colwick Marina.  

And on the 23^rd August we go to Miller & Carter at Wollaton for lunch.                    

On the 24^th May we dined at The Corinthian, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham. A lovely venue with excellent food.

We are planning our lunch on Wednesday, 28^th June at The Willow Tree in Basford (part of the Stadium Leisure Group).  

July we are thinking of having lunch on a Trent riverboat but more information later.                       

On 26^th April, 28 of us visited The Countryman in the Kirkby in Ashfield area which was much enjoyed.   

On the 24^th May we are booked into The Corinthian, Goldsmith Street, Nottingham and a £5 deposit is required. Unfortunately this clashes with the National Trust outing so our numbers are depleted but there is still time to add your name, especially if you are new to the Lunch Group. 

I should be grateful to receive any recommended venue suggestions within an eight to ten mile radius of Hucknall, as the menu prices for most places have gone up so much in recent months.

On March 22^nd twenty-four of us dined at The Red Lion at Bagthorpe.
