Easy Walkers

We meet on the 4th Thursday of the month at various locations around our area.

The walks are no more than 3 miles and we try to keep to reasonably flat terrain  with easily accessible paths.Wherever possible we stop off for refreshments!

A social group that enjoys a walk and a talk. All are welcome.

A walk over Bennerley Viaduct was enjoyed by the Easy Walkers Group in bright sunshine. It is hoped that by the middle of the year the visitors centre and café will be open so we will be returning to check it out again no doubt. It’s a pleasant three mile walk with rewarding views over …

A walk along the bottom of the Ranges onto  Black Pad and back to Linby was enjoyed by 15 Easy Walkers. Obviously a coffee at the end of the walk (2.5 miles) at  Brooke Farm was much appreciated. Thanks to those who walked with us.

A casual walk around Colliers Wood and the surrounding area in beautiful sunshine was enjoyed by our group. Colliers Wood was reclaimed following the closure of Moorgreen Colliery and now seems like it’s always been there! We ended our walk with the obligatory refreshment stop at Reuben Shaws Coffee Shop. Another lovely social walk.
