Easy Wheelers

The Group meets every Sunday and Wednesday mornings at 9.15am at the Hucknall Leisure Centre Car Park where assembled riders decide the destination and route for the day. It is acceptable for a member to suggest a destination and alternative route. Rides are between 14 and 21 miles (approx) long on Wednesdays with usually a longer ride on Sunday. There is always a mixture of on road and off road riding and we always include a sociable café stop.
Rides are suitable for all types of bikes: hybrid, mountain, road or electric. Protective cycle helmets are compulsory equipment for this Group and Hi-Viz wear is also recommended. Each member of the Group is also required to ensure that their cycle is well maintained to a high standard and is safe to ride.

We recognise that not all riders are able to carry out repairs to their cycles whilst on a ride ie. punctures etc. However other members of the group are on hand and well able to assist where necessary.
If weather conditions are considered to be dangerous, too icy or windy, the Leader may cancel the ride on safety grounds. Members will be notified by the messenger service WhatsApp.
