Mid-length Walking Group

For our last walk of the year, 32 happy ramblers made the most of the beautiful sunshine walking from Beeston Weir, along the Trent to Clifton Bridge and back along the canal. After stopping for lunch by Beeston Lock, we looped around Attenborough Nature Reserve, where we encountered the only muddy paths of the day! We ended the day with a welcome drink in the Boat and Horses pub. Thanks go to Philip and Liz Attenborough for leading this lovely walk. We now look forward to exploring more of the countryside next year.

Our walk leaders met in November to plan our walks for 2020 and I am pleased to say that we have another full programme of walks. We will be starting on January 20th with a city centre walk/quiz, followed by food and drinks in a pub.

Thank you to all our 2019 walk leaders who have provided us with an excellent year of walking.
