June’s medium walk, led by Paul and Steph Haigh, started from The Grouse Inn near Froggatt Edge. Sadly the weather was quite wet and dull for the first half of the walk but 12 brave souls joined in and had a most enjoyable time. We had coffee at Longshaw Lodge, great views, walked through The Longshaw Estate, then slipped and slid down the lovely Padley Gorge. Finally we ascended back to The Grouse Inn for a congratulatory drink!
Our next walk is on Monday July 18th – a 6 mile walk to Burton Joyce.
