We had the opportunity to try many different dishes from the world menu on 23rd October when we went to Peachy Keens in Nottingham. This is very good value as you can have a starter, main and dessert for £5.60 (seniors). The Dingbats quiz was won by Ann Lambert and June Williamson. A week later we went to the Bibiana Lounge in Hucknall to try an Indian/Bangladeshi menu for a change.
We are going to the Horse & Groom at Moorgreen on 27th November and the December lunch will be on the 18th at the Albert Hall Nottingham. Can I please have your menu choices at the November meeting. Could those going to the Pantomime please collect their tickets from me then also?
On the 22nd January we are staying locally in case of bad weather and we are going to the Arunothai Restaurant off Farleys Lane in Hucknall.
On 26th February we are going to Adams Brasserie in the Lace Market, Nottingham. Please check out the U3A website for menus and venues or telephone Sandra Green on 0115 8408132.
