The first part of our meeting in April was preparation for our forthcoming visit to Jodrell Bank.
Following a presentation of the history and development of different types of telescope and the principal of using the radio part of the electromagnetic spectrum to search the Universe there were some questions and discussion.
Part 2 gave members who had prepared but not yet delivered their mini presentations on food and nutrition a chance to do so. These were interesting and initiated some lively interaction within the group. Thanks to everyone for their contributions.
May 20th visit to Jodrell Bank Cheshire
