At the Bonington in Arnold next week are the following two films worthy of making the journey.
Lady Macbeth – A tale of passion, lust and murder set in rural northern England in 1865, Lady Macbeth shows the grim consequences of a young woman trapped in a loveless marriage when she starts an affair with a stable-hand.
Showing Monday 24th at 7.30 and Weds 26th at 2.30 and 7.30
A Man Called Ove – 59 year old Ove is a grumpy old man living alone. But when a family of immigrants move into the house opposite Ove turns a corner back to hope.
This is a comedy drama about unexpected friendship, love, and finding the glass half full. This life-enhancing film is a proper tonic. It has subtitles.
