Our membership at present stands at 250 and we have 145 names on our waiting list.
Membership is available to anyone who is no longer in full-time employment.
The annual subscription for full membership of the Hucknall U3A will be maintained at £15.00 for the year 1st April 2012 to 31st March 2013 and £11.50 for associate membership (where a member pays the TAT fee to another U3A). There is also an additional one-off joining fee of £5.00 for new members.
From January 2012 we will be holding our monthly meetings at the Hucknall Leisure Centre. This will enable us to increase the membership and we will be asking some of those on the waiting list to become members in March 2012 for the year 2012 – 2013.
The plan is to have approximate 70 names from the list as the first stage of increasing our numbers, and then once they are settled in we will invite some of those remaining to join, with the view of all of them becoming members sometime during the 2nd quarter of 2012.
