The November meeting started with members’ paintings being put on show for all to see and admire. This was followed by a short period of constructive criticism with all taking part. The remainder of the session was taken up with painting current subjects and catching up with work in progress.

The next meeting is on Monday 9 January 2012 and it was suggested that members bring along their watercolour interpretations of one or more Christmas cards that they felt inspired to emulate.

At the next meeting we will also discuss subjects to paint in the coming months and hear members’ thoughts on having a ‘painting day’ in the open air with a picnic lunch. If this meets with general approval the practical matters of a date and transport etc. can be sorted out.
