Reading Group
The July Reading Group will meet on Wednesday, 5th July. There was no June book choice but we have all read a variety of our own choices and we will discuss those books.

The May Reading Group will meet on Wednesday, 3rd May when the April choice (The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller) will be discussed. The choice for May is The War of the Worlds – H. G. Wells.

The April Reading Group will meet on Wednesday, 5th April when the March choice (The Fell by Sarah Moss which is set during the Covid pandemic) will be discussed. The choice for April is yet to be decided.

The March Reading Group will meet on Saturday, 4th March when the February choice “Lord of the Flies” – William Golding – will be discussed. The choice for March is yet to be decided.

Due to several members’ illnesses there was no January Reading Group so we will be reviewing “A Step So Grave” by Catriona McPherson in February; this writer is reminiscent of Agatha Christie and was a Hucknall Library Crime Café choice. … Continue reading
