The Birding Group was formed in September 2011. We have 16 members which we are keeping to as the maximum. Anyone else who wishes to join will be placed on the waiting list. We will review members from time to time who do not go regularly, thus giving a chance for members on the waiting list.
A robin with a liking for pork pie!
The Group meets on the second Tuesday of the month and we go to locations bird watching. The venues we have visited are Attenborough Nature Reserve, Clumber Park, RSPB Old Moor, Portland Park, Bestwood Country Park and Rufford Country Park.
As a group, we discuss where we would like to visit and when. I notify all members who are on the e-mail list approximately a week before we go of the venue, where and when we will meet.
